Contracts Manager

If so, we are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to support the effective and efficient running of our New Door Sales and Projects Department.

The Position:
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, in the role of Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Sales teams and customers ensuring that terms and conditions for new door sub-contracts and orders are agreed. You will also be liaising closely with the Projects team by ensuring you have provided guidance for forthcoming projects. In addition to this, you will be specifying and delivering training programmes for the Field Sales and Estimating teams to continually improve the skills and knowledge of both teams.

You will also identify opportunities for framework agreements and design appropriate contracts ensuring they are in line with recommendations from Gilgen’s legal advisors. Further to this, you will be managing the process of acknowledging orders and sub-contracts and releasing these to the Operations team for further actions.
 
Skills and Experience

Essential:
  • Strong influencing and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently across different functions
  • Detailed understanding of Construction Industry sub-contract agreements
  • Detailed understanding of terms and conditions of sale and installation through work in a similar industry
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Previous experience within a similar role
Desirable:
  • SAP/Microsoft Office experience
  • Relevant qualifications i.e. LLM, MSc, PGDip etc.
