Senior Regional Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Regional Sales Manager for the East to join a highly motivated and experienced team to cover industrial and automatic work throughout the East Region (London, Reading, Luton, Guildford, Kent, Watford, Stevenage, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Southend-on-Sea).

The Position:
In the role of the Senior Regional Sales Manager reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management of the East Sales team made up of Regional Sales Managers, Service Sales Manager and Specification Managers. You will be expected to maintain a high performance culture encouraging commercial awareness and business opportunities within the team as well as being proactive with your customer base.  

Skills and Experience

Essential:
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as a high level business partner to the MD
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Proven record of successful sales, commercial performance and leadership
  • Knowledge of UK building products, construction and contracting industries
  • Flexibility to adapt swiftly to changing demands in the business
Desirable:
  • Hold a mechanical, technical or construction qualification
  • Experience in a similar industry or have industry related background
  • Well networked in the industry or possess a background that will facilitate business development
